Friday Favorites

Happy Friday friends! Today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci to bring you my Friday Favorites. I hope you enjoy!

1. The Soup Pot That Keeps On Giving

Sunday I was sick in bed all day with a nasty sinus infection. What's the best cure when you're feeling under the weather? Soup. Husband made a massive pot of vegetable soup with carrots, onions, zucchini, leeks, mushrooms, and fresh herbs.

We had plenty leftover, so Monday night I added in two cups of water, three shredded chicken breasts, two more carrots, and another handful of mushrooms. Once again, we had leftovers!

Tuesday night, I added in another two cups of water, a red pepper, a few fresh herbs, and another handful of mushrooms. As the different herbs, vegetables, and chicken flavors melded together the soup got more and more scrumptious each night. The soup was so delicious and it was great having easy meal prep three nights in a row!

2. This Squirrel
Have you noticed the squirrels scampering around, busily storing nuts? While at the dog park this week a nut actually fell from a tree and hit me in the head! This squirrel reminds me of fall and is a Katie Vernon print I picked up for roughly 10 cents. You can read about the redecorating project here.

3. Honey Almond Zucchini Carrot Bread
When I have on hand every single ingredient a recipe calls for without a trip to the store, I feel like it's just meant to be. That happened this week! Somehow, without any prior plans to bake my Honey Almond Zucchini Carrot Bread, we had yogurt, honey, carrots, and zucchini all just waiting to be mixed together. I daresay, this loaf barely lasted a day in this house! At least it's a healthy version...

4.süße Bienchen "Sweet Little Bee"
While you've been reading over my Friday Favorites, I'm probably in the middle of decorating bee cupcakes with my kindergartners. How sweet are these? The kids are super excited to create and take home one of these cupcakes!

5. Trying New Things
If you missed it, I've decided to take custom orders for Christmas wreaths this year. Participating in the Christmas markets over the past 2 years just took too much time away from our weekends.
Earlier this week, the first order came in and I'm super excited to create a vintage ice skating wreath! You can get all the details here

Enjoy Your Weekend to the Fullest,

And...I'd love info on your wreath pricing. I have French doors in my dining room that occasionally get wreathed and I love your style.
