What's On...My Bucket List

A bucket list? Hmm... I actually do not have a bucket list.

Before starting this post I found the term "bucket list" a bit daunting. I thought for sure it was a list to complete before dying and death makes me uncomfortable. So I looked up the definition. Google says:

bucket list
noun
informal

  1. a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.

Ah ha, nothing about dying but rather accomplishments achieved in a lifetime. It is not a "To-Do List Before Dying". I feel better. So here we go...

It was so hard not to fill up my bucket list with travel destinations! Years ago my dad and I talked about going to a George Strait concert. Didn't he retire? Regardless, I haven't forgotten and it is still on my list. I really value education and want to further my degree. For years, I have made excuses on why I haven't gone back and debated when the right time will be to return to school.

Husband and I are not in Munich forever. We are living abroad on a contract and when the time is up we will have to decide what is best for our family. That time is slowly creeping up on us and the emotions are wild around here most days. To extend or to go back to Texas? The good news... I had a really HARD time making a "Munich To Do List" which means we have done and seen a lot!

I thought it would be fun to also not only look at the things I haven't done but the things I have done. Some of the things are serious accomplishments, others are silly but all things I am glad I did. (Even though I did just clean dog vomit off the carpet)

Some of my favorite memories and moments I am most proud of, revolve around Husband and I moving to Europe. We got married and a month later were on our own in Germany. We have spent A LOT of time just the two of us over the past two years and we are still having adventures!

I'm looking forward to reading other Bucket Lists today through Andrea's "What's On.." link up party! Maybe I will find some new things to add to mine?

Now tell me:

Whaaaat should I get my master's degree in?
That is the million dollar question.
Oh and...When?

Be sure and check out yesterday's shopping post on some great post Halloween sales!

Happy November Monday Friends,

  1. I love your 'did that'. It's so important to recognise what we did as much as what we hope to do.
